Romans 3v23: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
A very short and to the point verse, which sounds quite peculiar really.
So let me try to explain. I believe I am a sinner, and a very bad one at that. And believe it or not, that is said with sincerity. It is not just me trying to pretend I am an awful person when I secretly believe I am actually perfect. Because I am a sinner I have rebelled against God personally and because of that I have fallen short of my amazing God.
This is not however the end of the story (Thankfully!!!)
John 3v17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
So through what Jesus did on the Cross I now have salvation in him. Which is pretty Awesome.
